This is a different version of the LinkedIn article, with additional graphic design elements. I used images and typography to support the message of the article. Specifically, the first page photo is in warmer tones (beige, tan, soft orange). The second photo is cooler, in gray and light blue. The third page combines the two with a roller coaster painted blue and orange. The warm colors on the first page set an inviting tone for the article. The cooler colors match the emotional tone of the book being reviewed. The combination helps to synthesize the idea that books can be inviting and scary at the same time.
